![]() ![]() ![]() This is quite straightforward with Windows 10, and you get the latest version, rather than what the system originally had, then doing updates again. I haven't needed to concern myself much with transferring factory recovery partitions, since it's often desirable to do a clean installation of the OS without manufacturer bloat. That's why it ends up in the middle of a larger drive when a simple clone is done. ![]() Occasionally I've seen a recovery partition early in the drive, I think maybe on some Dells, but the vast majority of transfers I've done have had the recovery partition at the end of the drive.
